Returns and Refunds

We’re a small artist-run studio and most items are made to order. This page explains how we handle issues and what to expect. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Change of mind.
Digital downloads are final sale. For made-to-order items (tees, posters, prints) and stickers, we don’t accept change-of-mind returns or size exchanges. Producing to order helps us reduce waste and keep quality high.

If something’s wrong.
If an item arrives damaged, misprinted or faulty, email theeightanimal@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your Order # and clear photos of the whole item, the issue close-up, and the outer packaging with the shipping label. Once approved, we’ll replace or refund—your choice unless a specific ACL remedy applies.

Returns postage.
If we need the item back, we’ll provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return postage. Please wait for instructions before sending anything.

Delivery issues & wrong address.
Double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a parcel returns to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we can reship once it arrives back (additional postage may apply). If tracking is stuck or overdue, email us and we’ll investigate with the carrier.

Colour, sizing & materials.
Colours may vary slightly between screens and print, and small size tolerances are normal for printed goods and textiles. For tees, please refer to the size guide on each product page before ordering.

Bundles.
If one item in a bundle is damaged or faulty, we’ll replace or refund that component. Bundle savings apply to items you keep; if a component is refunded, we may recalculate the final price for the rest of the bundle.

Cancellations.
Because most products move into production quickly, cancellations aren’t guaranteed once an order is placed. If you need to cancel, email us ASAP with your Order # and we’ll do our best.

Refunds.
Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method. Bank processing times vary. If we replace an item, we cover the replacement’s standard shipping.

We currently do not accept orders from the EU or UK.
